Dr Eddie Roos

Medical Director Cosmetic Elegance Clinic

Treasurer (and past President) of Australian College of Aesthetic Medicine (ACAM)
Was a Founding Fellow of the Cosmetic Physicians College of Australasia (CPCA)
Fellow of the Australasian College of Cosmetic Surgery: Faculty of Medicine (FFMACCS)
Member of the Australasian College of Phlebology (ACP)
Founding member of the Skin Cancer College of Australasia (SCCA)

Having had a special interest in skin cancer diagnosis and treatment since 1988 and with his expertise gained in cosmetic medicine since 2007, Dr Roos has changed the lives of many people in Toowoomba and the Downs.

“Cosmetic Elegance Clinic is the realisation of a long held dream I have had.  I have always had a keen interest in skin cancer medicine and cosmetic medical procedures.  Originally, I worked in general practice – in South Africa, Bowan, Goondiwindi and Withcott. As the cosmetic medicine industry became more accessible I invested in a beauty salon in Toowoomba from which I offered cosmetic medicine treatments.  I soon realised the synergy that could occur by combining a medical skin practice with a beauty salon:- medical treatments with the best cosmetic outcome in mind.  It was a new concept at the time but I truly believed patients would benefit from a more holistic approach to skin care.   With a dream and a business plan, Cosmetic Elegance Clinic was born.”

“My interest in skin began in 1990 when I first bought a hair and skin care clinic in Tasmania.  Skin has been my main focus throughout my career – it is a living organ and sometimes we forget that!  My research involves wanting to know why a skin reacts in a certain way and how I can treat it more effectively.  I treat my clients holistically – it is not just about using a product or performing a treatment – it is about educating and achieving results.  I have a special interest in acne and anti-aging treatments – building a person’s self-esteem is what it is all about.   Completing my nursing degree has allowed me to be able to treat at the cutting edge, therefore providing the best outcomes for my clients.  My thirst for information continues – so will my research and study.”

Anne Bradley

Clinic Nurse

As a registered nurse for the past twenty years, I have thoroughly enjoyed my many experiences  providing care and support to patients in various work settings.  I have found this industry in particular to be both very interesting and extremely rewarding, as not only have I been given the opportunity to work each day with a friendly and professional team, but I am also able to provide quality nursing care to a beautiful clientele.

To ensure that we deliver the highest level of excellence, our registered nurses further their education on a regular basis, by attending conferences and seminars relating to general and cosmetic medicine.  Patient care is paramount and we adhere to strict clinical standards for treatments and infection control procedures, according to medical standards.

Andy Klein

Clinic Nurse

“I have recently moved to Toowoomba from Wallumbilla (near Roma) to be closer to family and new grandbaby. I was born in Roma and grew up on a cattle and grain property, northwest of Wallumbilla.  I went to school at Wallumbilla and finished my schooling in Toowoomba.

I worked in various jobs while raising children and whilst working in community age and disability care, the opportunity presented itself to study nursing.  On completion of my studies, I then worked at Maranoa Medical Centre, Roma, which I loved.

After moving to Toowoomba, I was fortunate enough to be given employment as a nurse at Cosmetic Elegance Clinic – a wonderful place to work and very gratifying to work with such a great team of people.”
