We use the Q-switched Nd:YAG laser which is designed especially for tattoo removal. It is a safe and effective treatment, with no downtime and little chance of side effects. The laser works by delivering light, in billionths of a second, at very high energy. The light is absorbed by the tattoo ink, shattering it into small enough particles for the body to absorb and remove through it's natural filtering process.

A numbing cream/ topical anaesthetic is used to numb the area for your comfort and a dressing is applied post treatment. A thin scab forms over the treated area, which will heal spontaneously. Aftercare education will be given to you at time of treatment. You will see the colour continuously fade over several weeks.

Multiple treatments will be required (possibly 8 to 12) for removal at a minimum of 8 weeks apart. The number of treatments will vary with the amount of pigment present, colour and whether it is an amateur or professional tattoo.
